Bega Peanut Butter

Pumpkin Peanut Dip

Makes: 1 cup

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 40 minutes

What you need

– 400g can chickpeas, drained

– ⅓ cup BEGA Peanut Butter Smooth

– 2 cloves garlic, crushed

– 1 teaspoon cumin

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– juice of 1 lemon

– 2 tbsp. warm water, to loosen if required

– 400g pumpkin, cut into 2cm pieces and roasted until tender, for serving

Everyone will love your “world famous” Pumpkin Peanut Dip! The perfect crowd pleaser or, just keep it all for yourself. We won’t judge!


Step 1.

Combine in a blender: peanut butter, garlic, cumin, oil and lemon juice. Add the chickpeas and pumpkin (reserve a little of both for the garnish).

Step 2.

Blend into a smooth dip. Add in a little warm water to loosen if required. Store chilled, until required.

Step 3.

Sprinkle with pumpkin pieces, chickpeas, parsley leaves, paprika, pumpkin seeds and crushed peanuts and serve with corn chips or pita bread.
